Demolition in Mississauga
Bolan serves Mississauga, including the south Mississauga coverage retained from our existing site. We assess house removal, interior renovations, commercial strip-outs and concrete work against the actual property and building use. The municipality's dwelling-removal process is an important early distinction.

Distinguish dwelling removal from an interior strip-out
Mississauga's residential demolition document list includes a Demolition Control Permit Declaration and a site plan. The city's demolition control guidance says dwelling-unit demolition requires a Demolition Control Permit, with building demolition permits processed alongside control where appropriate. Confirm how the proposed removal is classified before assuming an interior scope and a dwelling removal follow the same path.

Bring to the site discussion
- Describe whether the dwelling itself is being removed or only interior finishes and partitions.
- For a commercial unit, identify retained services, shared access and the landlord's handover requirements.
- For a property with heritage status, use the city's heritage review process in addition to the building application guidance.

What should a commercial strip-out enquiry include?
Include the unit's use, the items to remove, what remains for the next tenant, building access and any landlord drawings. This helps distinguish finishes-only removal from structural changes or shared-service work.
