Local assessment
Build the clearance documents into the scope
Burlington's demolition process lists a building permit application, a signed Demolition Clearance Form and the drawings and documents in its demolition checklist. The city also directs owners to consider affected utilities and Forestry when tree removal is part of the plan. These are useful starting points for a building-removal assessment.
Planning reference checked 7 October 2026: City of Burlington demolition permits. Confirm current requirements for the address and proposed work.
Bring to the site discussion
- Identify the building footprint and any attached areas that are staying, so the site plan and removal scope agree.
- Keep utility clearance information with the project documents rather than assuming a vacant building is disconnected.
- If the machine route or demolition footprint involves a tree, raise that before finalising access and protection.
Community and postal coverage
Coverage includes Burlington. These are service locations, with enquiries handled through our Oakville office.

Can the same paperwork be used for an Oakville and Burlington job?
Treat each property separately. Burlington publishes its own clearance form and requirements checklist. Confirm the applicable municipality and documents before arranging the work.
