Salon and spa renovation strip-out
Moving wash stations can change a salon renovation more than replacing every styling chair. Compare the new layout with the fixed cabinets, mirrors, partitions and connected stations already in the premises. Bolan can assess ordinary commercial-interior removals while the relevant trades define the wet-service and electrical work.
Discuss the removal portion through our commercial strip out service.
Choose the depth of the salon refit
A furniture refresh may need little building removal. Moving the wet area or changing operators can produce a much wider package. Name the physical result rather than asking for all salon equipment to be cleared.
| Intended change | Interior removal decision | Specialist or operator decision |
|---|---|---|
| Refresh styling stations | Which attached mirrors, cabinets and finishes leave? | Destination of chairs and loose equipment |
| Relocate wash stations | Which fixed joinery and surrounding layers need removal? | Trade-designed connections and preparation |
| Reconfigure treatment rooms | Which assessed partitions and doors change? | Intended use, equipment and building-service requirements |
Look at the floor beneath the stations
Cabinet footprints may reveal unfinished areas or a different floor layer. A retained mirror can set a wall-finish boundary, while a moved basin can leave connections that require a trade's attention. Ask the new fit-out contractor which surfaces need exposure and which repairs belong after demolition.
Ownership also matters. An operator's equipment, a landlord-owned fixture and an attached counter should not receive the same instruction without review. Ordinary strip-out does not establish a right to dispose of them.
Illustrative wash-area relocation
A salon retains reception and most styling positions but moves its basins to the rear. The removal plan identifies the old wash-area cabinetry, specified finishes and any assessed enclosure changes. The plumber defines affected connections; the new installer specifies what it needs at the relocated area.
The comparison prevents the retained reception from being treated as part of a full reset. It also exposes the floor and wall repairs that a basin move can create even when the public area looks largely unchanged.
Bring the station plan
Request a Bolan assessment with current and proposed station locations, retained mirrors and cabinetry, equipment destinations and trade contacts. List unresolved floor layers or connections for review. This guide does not offer medical-spa, clinical, laser-equipment or chemical-treatment services, and no installation or equipment-reuse guarantee is implied.
